I follow a couple different Bullet Journaling groups online for organization layout ideas. Wow, what a nerdy way to start an entry. Ha! (If you haven’t heard of bullet journaling, you should check it out. It’s a great system to stay organized!) As the new year was approaching and everyone was setting up their brand new journals, there was quite a hubbub about what everyone will choose as their word of the year. Essentially, you pick a single ...

My Father. My Inspiration. (And why I encourage everyone to take family photos!)
When I was 9, I spent an afternoon with my Girl Scout troop using puffy paint and glitter to write "#1 Dad" and "I love you" with hearts and swirls all over one of his white t-shirts. In retrospect, that shirt was probably the most ridiculous creation ever and I can't imagine how any 40-something year old man would ever wear that. But I remember how happy I was when I saw him donning it proudly. That's what a #1 dad does. He would also drive ...
Happy Mother’s Day! {Philadelphia area Family Photographer}
Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms out there! I also wanted to send an extra special greeting to my own mom. If you're lucky enough to have met her, then you already know that she's an incredibly intelligent, strong, hard working, globe-trotting, and fun loving woman. She has one of the largest hearts that is willing to help and give everything she possibly can to others and is always putting herself last. Devoted to her children, she ...
Snowflakes are my unicorns
My photography unicorn that I often chase is the elusive perfect snowflake macro. It's snowing here in PA again (I feel like I'm saying that a lot these days), so I went outside to try and catch some snowflakes to photograph. We got more of the little icy snow rather than huge wet flakes, but I found two little ones that I liked. I'll call them baby unicorns for now and the hunt will continue! ...
Happy Birthday to my better half! {Lansdale Portrait Photographer}
Today is my better half's birthday so I thought I would share my favorite photo of him. :) It was taken when we were watching the sunset with some friends in Wilmington, NC a couple of years ago. I caught him in a bit of a candid moment and when he realized I had my camera on him, he gave me the smile that I love so much. You know the one... the one that can make anything better and fill me with happiness. Happy birthday, J! May there be many ...
Putting the lazy in lazy Sunday {Lansdale Pet Photographer}
Possibly a new photography niche - Pet Lifestyle Photography? Would be easy for this guy. His lifestyle is mostly sleepy one! :) ...
